Summary

We observe a slight increase in the number of employees notified of layoffs as part of WARN layoff notices in July. In general, mass layoffs have been largely stable since the beginning of 2026, with very minor fluctuations every month. The number of employees notified of layoffs increased to 27k employees in July compared to 23k employees in June.
