About Young Life

Young Life seeks to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith by going where kids are, building personal relationships with them, and earning the right to be heard. The organization's main office is located in Colorado Springs, CO, with a regional offices located around the country. Young Life Greater Houston Region oversees Young Life ministries in Houston, TX, and surrounding areas. Young Life programs are centered on four basic activities, often called “The Four C’s”: 1) Contact Work: Caring adults going to kids and building bridges of friendship and mentoring. 2) Club: A high-energy celebration filled with humor, games, music and a message of hope. 3) Campaigners: A Bible study time in which kids are encouraged to grow in their faith. 4) Camp: At camp, kids are given the opportunity to get away from their usual surroundings, experience the natural beauty of the camp setting, participate in adventurous activities, and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Young Life is not just about programs - it’s about people. It’s what happens when caring adults enter into the world of kids by going where they are and building personal relationships with them. In doing so, they earn the right to be heard and share the good news of Jesus Christ with them - the best news they will ever hear!
