Western Refrigeration Pvt Ltd The largest manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment in India. Western Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd. came into existence in 1972 by our founder Chairman Mr. Bhupinder Singh. We first started as a trading company, incorporating and supplying air-conditioning and refrigeration parts to large companies in our industry. Based on our association with the refrigeration industry and knowledge of importation we returned into the importation of beverage dispensers and coolers from 1995 onwards. Western soon set-up its first cooler plant in Shahpur, Maharashtra in 1997 and then ventured into manufacturing of horizontal coolers and freezers segment with its second plant in Silvassa, India in the year 2001. Over the years, Western has expanded its business and now has operations spread across its 16 offices in India. Western was the 1st manufacturer in India for Visi-coolers and has since become one of the largest manufacturers of commercial refrigeration equipment in India. Western in 2014 set up a new Greenfield facility in Sanjan, Gujarat which is the largest plant of its kind in South-east Asia with an installed capacity of over 1,000 units per day. Western today has a cumulative capacity of 360,000 units per annum and export to 45 countries spread over Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Africa Western has been a pioneer in use of Carbon Di-oxide as a refrigerant on its equipment and on development of Solar powered coolers. Western is also one of the first companies to start manufacturing dispensers in India and few other stainless steel equipment for the quick service restaurant industry Due to its investment on new technology and new facilities, Western has grown at a CAGR of 30% for the last 10 years with almost 35% of our sales coming from exports.
