Pakka Limited (located in Ayodhya, India) provides regenerative packaging solutions for food products. We aim to contribute towards a cleaner planet by developing compostable products made from sugarcane waste (bagasse) which is locally sourced & pulped by us. We work in 3 domains: - Food packaging - Food carry - Food service We are India's 1st Manufacturing B Corp and also one of only 7 public listed B-Corps in the world. We've also been awarded Top 10 environmentally sustainable company by the B-Corp organization. Our whole DNA is around sustainability & highlight some key features:- • All products produced are backyard compostable for sustainable packaging • We are 100% based on our own biomass-based energy • We recover 95% of our cooking chemicals • All our raw materials & fuels is locally sourced (within 200 km of the factory) • We work with local villages towards better education, sanitation & employment. Established in 1981, by entrepreneur-promoter KK Jhunjhunwala - with an installed capacity of 1940 MT per annum in 1983, Pakka started production of low grammage kraft grades. Today, Pakka has shifted its focus towards producing compostable packaging solutions. CHUK is the product brand of Pakka that produces 100% compostable tableware that is completely safe to eat from. Launched in 2017, today it has presence in major cities of India and has 150+ QSRs like Haldiram's, Lite Bite Food, Chaipoint, Google, Starbucks, PVR, Inox and Amazon as its customers.
