Open Fiber was born in December with the aim of creating an ultra-broadband (BUL) fiber optic FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network infrastructure in all Italian regions. Our mission is to break down the barriers erected by the digital divide in Italy, which is why we are building a road that will accompany all citizens, from small villages to large metropolitan areas, towards innovative digital services, guaranteeing everyone full access to the opportunities offered from an increasingly interconnected world. We have chosen a "wholesale only" business model to guarantee a free market for all interested operators, on equal terms, and provide users with a vast possibility of choice. As an infrastructure player, at Open Fiber we deal with the creation, management and maintenance of the fiber optic network with FTTH technology, the only one capable of guaranteeing an ultra-fast connection with very high levels of efficiency and reliability.
