On January , received a License for the provision of telecommunication services, officially became the th operator in Myanmar. On February , MYTEL achieved an important milestone for the project with a successful first call with full features of one completed modern G Network. On March , trial sales started in some provinces of Myanmar, leading on to the booming phase.
