With thousands of employees, operations in eight provinces and all three territories, Miller, as part of the Colas family, is the largest road construction company in Canada. The Miller Group’s history dates back to 1917 when it was founded as A.E. Jupp Construction. When its ownership changed in 1946, the name changed to Miller Paving Limited. Since its formation, Miller’s proud reputation has been based on excellence in road building and it has contributed to many of the major infrastructure projects during the great road building boom of the mid-20th century and beyond.
