Our story began in the 1990s, when the foundations of the automotive industry in Turkey were laid. As a result of the work of a passionate team, we brought a global experience to Turkey in 2017 under the title of Otomarsan, in partnership with Daimler-Benz AG. With our Istanbul Bus and Aksaray Truck Factories, we turned this experience into a success story exported from Turkey to the world. Until 2018, we imported and sold Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles and all automobile brands under Daimler AG. As of January, with the new restructuring process initiated by our parent company Daimler AG all over the world, we continued our activities under the company "Daimler Truck AG", which has legal independence under the umbrella of Daimler AG, as responsible for the Truck and Bus groups. . We continue our activities as responsible for the Truck and Bus groups under the company "Daimler Truck AG", which has complete legal independence globally. Today, as one of Turkey's largest foreign capital investments with an investment volume exceeding billion euros, our passionate story continues with our more than 1,000 employees. We produce intercity and urban buses at the Istanbul Hoşdere Factory, and heavy-duty trucks and tractors at the Aksaray Factory. We form important parts of the development and production network of our parent company, Daimler Truck AG, with our Aksaray and Hoşdere R&D Centers, to which we export engineering to the whole world.
