About Knowledge Society
We believe there aren’t enough smart people working on hard problems in the world. In 2016, TKS was created to equip ambitious youth with the knowledge, skills, mindsets and networks needed to tackle the world’s biggest problems. Through our 10-month extracurricular program, students are exposed to the bleeding edge of tech and science and trained in gene editing, AI, cellular agriculture, synthetic biology, regenerative medicine, brain-computer interfaces, and more. They’re introduced to 50+ emerging technologies and then select an area to go deeper in through case studies and project-based learning. We’re partnered with a number of organizations to give students the opportunity to work on projects rooted in real-life applications. Notable partners include the Mastercard Foundation, SwitchHealth, IKEA, Walmart and Amazon Alexa. TKS has built a global network of over 4,000 students and alumni who are working to create the future and solve important problems in the world.
