Established in 1831, The King's School is located on 320 acres in the heart of Australia's largest global city. It offers a quality education for boys Pre-K to Year 6 at its IB Preparatory School & a Senior School which has an exceptional boarding program & facilities for Years 7 to 12. An internationally recognised leader in boy’s education, the School has a diverse student body drawn from across Sydney, rural, remote & international regions. Tudor House, set on 160 acres in the Southern Highlands of NSW, offers a co-educational primary years education from Pre-K to Yr 6 and boarding for Years 3 to 6. The King's School seeks to make an outstanding impact through its students for the good of society, and by the quality of its teaching and its leadership in education. We believe there is more to education than the mere inculcation of knowledge with the 'occasional' inclusion of co-curricular and sports activities. The commitment to students at King's is to provide academic excellence with character development in the context of a Christian community. This was the founding purpose of the School by King William IV in 1831 for the emerging colony of NSW at that time, and remains our mission today. The distinctive King's uniform is the oldest military uniform worn in Australia, and is wonderfully symbolic of what it means to be a Kingsman - one who is willing to live under authority and committed to living their life in service of others. The uniform, largely unchanged over nearly 200 years, has been worn with pride from generation to generation.
