The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia is a state ministry which has the task of carrying out government affairs in the field of state finance to assist the President in administering state government. In carrying out the above tasks, the Ministry of Finance carries out the following functions: a. formulation, determination, and implementation of policies in the fields of budgeting, tax, customs and excise, treasury, state assets, financial balance, and financing and risk management, b. formulating, determining and providing recommendations for fiscal and financial sector policies, c. coordinating the implementation of tasks, coaching and providing administrative support to all organizational elements within the Ministry of Finance, d. management of state property/wealth which is the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance, e. supervision over the implementation of tasks within the Ministry of Finance, f. implementation of technical guidance and supervision over the implementation of Ministry of Finance affairs in the regions, g. implementation of technical activities from the center to the regions, h. implementation of education, training and competency certification in the field of state finance, and i. implementation of substantive support to all organizational elements within the Ministry of Finance. Achieving a high level of tax, customs and excise compliance through excellent service and strict law enforcement, . Implement prudent fiscal policies, .
