Karakter is an academic center for child and adolescent psychiatry with locations in Gelderland, Overijssel, North Brabant and Limburg. Children and young people from all municipalities in the Netherlands can come to us. Children and young people come to us for diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, behavioral disorders, psychosis and other psychiatric problems. During treatment, we always look carefully at what the child needs and what suits the child best. These can be therapies or conversations, individually, in a group or with the parents present.
