About Hunar Foundation

The Hunar Foundation (THF) was founded by a concerned and dedicated group of individuals. The key objective of THF is to provide school leavers and other young adults with international standard vocational training that meets the expectations of the market, leading to employment or small business creation – and eventually economic freedom and empowerment. THF’s intention is to offer this service to the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society – the poor, women, minorities, and geographies where need is considered to be more urgent. The vision also is to provide training of international standards so that graduates can even seek employment outside Pakistan. In addition to offering courses that are accredited by the Sind Trade & Testing Board, many of our courses / curriculum are approved by City & Guilds UK, and students who sit for their exams also receive the C&G Certificates and Diplomas which are recognized internationally. THF was registered on the 21st of February 2008 under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, bearing registration No. KAR0104 of 2007-2008. Income tax exemption has been obtained and our NTN is: 3072746-4.
