Sutures India was established in 1992 at Bangalore, India with the mission of protecting lives. We began with manufacturing gut sutures, and with continuous support and guidance from the clinical fraternity and significant investments over a period of time in product development, we added a broader portfolio surgical sutures and other products. Today, we have the entire range of surgical sutures across therapeutic areas such as obstetrics/gynaecology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, transplants etc. We also have several other surgical and medical consumable products that are now a benchmark of quality worldwide. Our pride rests in the fact that we offer top quality solutions to surgeons, physicians, and hospitals across 100 countries including countries such as the USA, France, UK, Poland, China. Our innovative surgical supplies are engineered to meet the highest quality standards and needs of surgeons and physicians around the world, while helping reduce the cost per procedure. We have a strong focus on manufacturing, across five state-of-the-art manufacturing locations in India, with two dedicated for the international markets. We invest significantly in our manufacturing systems, safety systems, regulatory processes and quality systems – key factors to implementing our “Make in India” strategy.
