Our history comes from afar, but we look to the future. HDI Assicurazioni has its roots in Italy where, in , the “Mutual Aid Society” was founded by a group of railway workers. Dal HDI takes another step forward, entering the Talanx Group of Hannover, a large German insurance group, third in Germany and fourth in Europe, of international importance which operates in over countries around the world. Thanks to this network, HDI Assicurazioni has an Italian heart with a solid global vision. In Italy, HDI can count on over agents distributed equally throughout the territory and a widespread presence, thanks also to partnerships with important players in the banking sector that complete the Company's sales network. Another big step takes place in , with the formalization of the merger by incorporation of HDI Italia (formerly Amissima Assicurazioni) into HDI Assicurazioni. Operation began in with the acquisition process that brought HDI Assicurazioni to the number one position among non-life insurers in Italy. The strategic vision of HDI Assicurazioni, in line with the principles of the Talanx Group, is based first and foremost on the centrality of its Customers. We want to be an insurance company that is always connected with the customer, capable of improving the quality of the offer and service.
