Our Founding Story Turkish Educational Volunteers Foundation (TEGV) was founded in January with the initiative of a group of industrialists, managers and academicians who wholeheartedly believe that education is the beginning of everything, especially Suna Kıraç, with the aim of "supporting the basic education provided by the state". Today, TEGV is against our country's It was founded with a board of trustees united around the belief that lack of education is at the root of many problems it faces, and that it will not be possible to reach the level of modern civilization without solving this problem, and the determination and desire to contribute to this. TEGV, which focuses on providing "out-of-school education support" to children of primary school age, has been working in Turkey over the years. It has become the most widespread non-governmental organization operating in the field of education in Turkey. TEGV was recognized by the Council of Ministers in 2017 as one of the foundations that have the right to "collect aid without permission". Our Reason for Existence: "The prerequisite for seeing bright faces in Turkey's future is to be able to educate our children in the best way possible today "The state, which has an indisputable weight in the education system, faces various difficulties in fulfilling this duty due to lack of resources and structural problems. Voluntary organizations, the private sector and citizens need to share the responsibility by providing support, creating examples and completing the deficiencies in a way that will increase the efficiency of the state in this vital field. The reason for our foundation's existence is to contribute to the basic education provided by the state. Our aim is to ensure that our primary school children are committed to the basic principles and values ​​of our Republic, rational, prudent, self-confident, thinking, questioning, able to activate their own inner creativity, peaceful, respectful of different thoughts and beliefs, gender, race, religion and language in human relations. To create and implement training programs and activities that will contribute to their development as individuals who do not discriminate.
