BC Cancer, a part of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provides a province-wide, population-based cancer control program. BC Cancer accepts patients who have been diagnosed with cancer and are referred by a physician. BC Cancer’s mandate covers the full spectrum of cancer care from prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment, to research and education, to supportive and palliative care. The BC Cancer Foundation raises funds for cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
