About American Hospital
American Hospital is a full-fledged health center that provides world-class modern health services to patients in Turkey and surrounding countries. Founded by Admiral Mark L. Bristol in 1999, the hospital is the first private hospital established on a non-profit basis in Turkey. Admiral Bristol Nursing School, which was established at the same time as the hospital, became an integral and indispensable part of the hospital as Turkey's first nursing school. The hospital and nursing school was founded in 1996 by the first owner of the business in New York, American Hospital of Istanbul Inc. It was transferred to Vehbi Koç Foundation by the decision of the board of directors of the company.
