AACD - Association for Assistance to Disabled Children - was born, the work of a visionary, Dr. Renato da Costa Bomfim, who, inspired by the technological evolution of rehabilitation centers abroad, created a similar structure in Brazil. To preserve the commitment to quality and excellence expressed in each service at AACD, several fundraising channels were created, including the Telethon, which aim to guarantee the Institution autonomy and sustainability proposal. However, AACD is not exclusively focused on the area of ​​physical rehabilitation. Several other activities, such as professional training projects, support programs for people with physical disabilities and their families, inclusion in Paralympic sports, in addition to the commitment to ensuring full social integration for patients, are part of the Institution's current management. We also live with other needs and that is why we need your special collaboration in making investments in the research area, in facilities and equipment at the AACD Hospital, in São Paulo and for the maintenance of our rehabilitation centers and orthopedic workshops all over the country.
