Van Wijnen Engineering is our multidisciplinary engineering firm: the constructive partner for our clients in all phases of the joint construction process. Our many years of experience in structural engineering, leading position in BIM and advisory role for the Construction Review Committee are proof of our expertise in engineering prefab and cast-in-place concrete, steel and wood. The integrated approach to main construction and detailed engineering makes us a workplace for people with ambition. On January, Wijcon from Dordrecht and engineering firm Jansen Wesselink from Drachten officially continued together under the name Van Wijnen Engineering. Since April, the Emmen Engineering Group (IGE) has been added. With this merger, the agencies strive for national coverage of constructive safety and guaranteeing Van Wijnen's growth ambitions from their current locations. We work together with partners in 'co-creation' on innovative projects throughout the Netherlands. The idea behind co-creation is that sharing knowledge leads to multiplication of knowledge, so-called knowledge creation. We involve construction partners already in the design phase of the construction process. In this way, needs, knowledge and experience directly contribute to an optimal and joint result and we achieve innovation and sustainability. Our mission is to continuously learn and develop from and with each other, and to ensure constructive safety together. With BIM (Building Information Modelling) we link virtual geometric data and information with digital D-models. BIM contributes to accessibility for all stakeholders such as project developers, architects, designers, builders and suppliers.
