About SuperVia

We are SuperVia and we operate the urban train service in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro. Our trains serve thousands of passengers from the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro, Duque de Caxias, Nova Iguaçu, Nilópolis, Mesquita, Queimados, São João de Meriti, Belford Roxo, Japeri, Magé, Paracambi and Guapimirim through a divided kilometer-long railway network in five branches, three extensions and stations. We don't have one story, we have several. We are more than two thousand employees working daily towards the same objective: to better serve the passengers we transport every day. In recent years, we have made great strides. In May, GUMI - Guarana Urban Mobility Incorporated assumed controlling interest in SuperVia to continue the process of improvements started in , with regard to the services offered, train fleet, infrastructure, technology, passenger relations, among others. . Our path is the same: working with dedication to achieve the complete transformation of the railway system and becoming increasingly partners in the daily lives of thousands of people.
