Since , the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará (FIEC, an institution linked to the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), has been a driver of the social and economic development of the State, stimulating competitiveness, generating new business, and strengthening institutional links. It brings together employer unions associates, representatives of various industrial productive segments. With their service houses – Industrial Social Service (SESI, National Industrial Learning Service (SENAI) and Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), the FIEC System is constituted, which is present in Fortaleza and in important municipalities in the metropolitan region, North region and Cariri, to meet the industry's demands for worker health and quality of life, professional training and qualifications for the industry, specialized technical and technological services, incentives for innovation and executive education.
