The history of SEWS CABIND began in May 04 2001 when the Japanese Company, Sumitomo Electric Group (SEI and SWS), took over the Italian business 'Cabind Automotive S.p.A.' located near Torino, in the northwest of Italy, setting the foundations for what was to become a very successful partnership. SEWS-CABIND GROUP in 2023 now operates in four countries Italy, Poland, Morocco and Albania and employs circa 13.000 people. We flourish on leading-edge design & engineering, cost-effective techniques and highly skilled dynamic Human Resources. Our three subsidiaries that run local offices and production plants are: In Morocco. SEWS-CABIND Maroc S.A.S. with 4 manufacturing sites in Ain Harrouda (headquarters), Berrechid and Ain Sebaa. In Poland. SEWS-CABIND Poland sp.z.oo with two historical plants in Zywiec. In Albania. SEWS-CABIND Albania Sh.p.k, is our most recently opened subsidiary. Operations started in 2020 near Bathore Kamez (Tirana) and there are now three manufacturing sites. Since the foundation 23 years ago, the cornerstone of our business has been the production and supply of wire harnessing and wiring to the automotive industry. The wiring of a vehicle can be compared to the human nervous system. It transmits electric signals which permit the exchange of information within the vehicle. We also manufacture wiring at our Ain Harrouda production site. SEWS CABIND continues to strive for growth in new business segments such as High Voltage and Autonomous, Hybrid and Electric vehicles.
