RPSG Sports Private Limited is the sports arm of the RPSG Group, one of India’s largest conglomerates with an asset base of $7 Bn and an active presence in 35+ countries. Formed in 2014, RPSG Sports came to being with an unwavering goal – breeding excellence within the sporting community of India. Having made multiple investments, the current portfolio of RPSG Sports include the iconic ATK Mohun Bagan Football Club, the pathbreaking Lucknow Super Giants and the new and exciting Durban’s Super Giants. The Group's first sports asset was ATK - a football club based in Kolkata, which competes in the Indian Super League football competition. The license for the club was acquired in 2014 by a consortium that also included the celebrated Spanish football club Atlético de Madrid, which exited in 2017. The club is one of the eight original participating ISL teams. The Group acquired a majority stake in Mohun Bagan Football in 2020.The iconic club, established in 1889, has won 100 major titles till date. They have won the prestigious I-League title five times. The clubs were merged and play as one since ISL 2020-21 onwards. LSG, the group’s second foray into the IPL, kickstarted their campaign with great aplomb by qualifying for the playoffs in its very first season in 2021. Durban based DSG, the latest feather in the RPSG Sports cap took the country of South Africa by storm with inspiring performances in the inaugural edition of the SA20 league.
