The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established in the year AD pursuant to a royal decree granting it financial and administrative independence to implement the basic equipment plan necessary to prepare the Jubail and Yanbu region as two industrial zones, within the framework of the Kingdom’s policy to diversify sources of income and expand its industrial base. Today, the Commission manages four industrial cities: Jubail and Yanbu Industrial City, Ras Al-Khair for mining industries, and Jazan for basic and transformational industries. The Royal Commission has achieved many great achievements since its establishment and seeks to achieve similar achievements in the future.
