Northpower operates and maintains both the electricity and fibre networks in the Whangārei and Kaipara region of Northland, New Zealand. We also provide specialist contracting services to our partners, other network owners and operators across the North Island. We employ over 1,250 people in a wide variety of roles, with an annual revenue of over $300m. Improving access, opportunity and prosperity for the people and communities we serve 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is at the heart of what we do. Over 60,000 consumers are connected to Northpower's electricity network. We’re owned by the Northpower Electric Power Trust, a non-profit entity that distributes our profits back to our beneficiary owners - the people of Whangārei and Kaipara.
