Safe and efficient flow of information in the health sector is something that concerns us all. In the worst case, it means life. We work to ensure that all practitioners and residents have access to the patient information they need - exactly when it is needed. Our colleagues contribute to safe and effective digital interaction between hospitals, GPs, municipalities and a number of other health actors. In practice, this means that we develop, manage and operate the Health Network - the national electronic infrastructure in the health and care sector and national e-health solutions such as Helsenorge, core medical record and e-prescription. We also deliver services within ICT, acquisitions and archives to the health administration. Norsk helsenett is a state enterprise (SF) established and owned by the Ministry of Health and Care. We have our head office in Trondheim, and branch offices in Tromsø, Oslo, Bergen and on Svalbard. We work to ensure that all health information is safe and accessible - always.
