NIS Group is one of the largest vertically integrated energy companies in Southeast Europe. Main activities consist of research, production and oil and natural gas refining, sales and distribution of a wide assortment of petroleum products, as well as the realization of projects in the fields of petrochemistry and energetics. NIS headquarters and main production facilities are located in the Republic of Serbia: oil and gas fields, the Pančevo Oil Refinery, warehouses, as well as a network of petrol stations. In addition to Serbia, NIS is also developing its business in the Balkans region. Regional expansion is taking place in two main directions – in the field of oil and gas exploration and production (in Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina) and through the development of a retail network (in Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania). In the Balkans market, NIS manages a total network of over 400 petrol stations, under two brand names – NIS Petrol and the premium brand GAZPROM. On top of that, NIS is active in the field of electricity trade as well, where, in addition to the Serbian market, it is also present in the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary. In addition to business-related activities, NIS is also implementing numerous socially responsible projects aimed at improving the life of the community in which the company operates. The efforts of NIS in this area are particularly focused on young people who are the bearers of future development. Today, NIS is one of the most successful companies and the largest budget provider in Serbia.
