Formerly known as Morton Manufacturing. Metalex, powered by UPG is the largest Safety Grating, expanded and perforated metal manufacturer in North America. Our safety grating products include: Open-Grip®, Deck Span®, Tread-Grip®, and Star Deck®for industrial & railroad anti-slip walking surfaces. Produced in channels, sheets, steps, ladder rungs, walkways, stair treads and platforms. Expanded and perforated metal is produced in coils, sheets, and blanks, as well as various tube designs — perforated and louvered spiral lock seam, welded, and more.
