Opened in , the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (Icesp, a unit linked to the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP and the State Department of Health of São Paulo, is one of the largest oncology centers in Latin America, with pillars in assistance, teaching and research, and service provided by the public health network.
