Gruppo PAM was born in from the entrepreneurial idea of three Venetian friends, who decided to invest in the then emerging modern commercial sector. In the 1980s, the company experienced a further period of rapid and intense development and further diversified its offering, meeting the new needs of modern families. This is how the first Panorama hypermarket was born in, while the first IN'S hard discount store opened in .
