EUROIMMUN was founded in Germany in September by a specialist in laboratory medicine and transfusionology, Prof. Winfried Stöcker, MD, PhD, who started his activity with a pioneering modification of the indirect immunofluorescence method, which remains the gold standard for autoantibody diagnostics to this day.
