Founded in March, Coplana – Cooperativa Agroindustrial – is a non-profit entity, formed by producers of sugar cane, crops in rotation with sugarcane, such as peanuts and soybeans, as well as other smaller-scale crops. Its headquarters is located in Guariba – SP and has branches in Jaboticabal, where the Grains Unit is also located, Taquaritinga, Dumont and Pradópolis. It also has Outposts in the cities of Batatais, Colina, Catanduva, Monte Aprazível and Frutal – MG. Total support for rural producers In its operations, it offers rural producers: inputs on competitive terms, which includes obtaining financing, complete technical assistance to enhance crop performance, identification and implementation of new technologies for production sustainability, operating in the peanut market from seed to commercialization, selling products at retail, serving producers and the community. Socio-environmental responsibility In its area of ​​socio-environmental responsibility, the Cooperative is a pioneer in the reverse logistics of agricultural pesticide packaging, has environmental projects for reforestation and integration with local communities and has a consolidated Cooperative Education program, to train members and collaborators. Premium peanuts As a notable work in relation to the transformation of agriculture in the interior of the State of São Paulo, the Cooperative made history with the Coplana Brazilian Premium Pennuts brand, the selected peanut that serves the most demanding food industries in Brazil and abroad. With peanuts, Coplana promoted the mechanization of farming, opened Brazil to the foreign market and achieved a high quality standard attested, among others, by the international certification BRC – Britsh Retail Consortim, in grade A, the highest certification grade.
