Its activity is carried out in four large areas: • Agricultural, engineering and materials sciences • Biological and health sciences • Exact and natural sciences • Social sciences and humanities At CONICET, we also promote and manage the transfer of technologies, services and capabilities of Research and Development (R&D) generated by its scientific community towards the socio-productive sectors, SMEs, Governments, public organizations and civil society. In that sense: • We connect highly specialized human resources with entrepreneurs to generate joint opportunities. • We promote participation with chambers and business associations, technology and industrial parks, state agencies, NGOs, civil organizations, and national and international technological linkage networks. • We facilitate the transfer to the productive sector through scaling processes, proofs of concept, among others. • We promote the creation of Technology-Based Companies.
