Urbanet Analyze is a department of Asplan Viak, and today has employees spread over two offices in Oslo and Stockholm. We have an interdisciplinary staff consisting of social economists, political scientists, sociologists, social geographers and engineers. The professional breadth enables us to shed light on a number of issues linked to the transport area and to use several methodological approaches. Urbanet works at the border between research and investigation, with a focus on sustainable urban transport. We carry out analyzes at many different levels, both locally and nationally and of individual measures and of packages of measures. Our competence is primarily aimed at strategic analyzes in the field of transport, both when it comes to demand analyses, optimization of the supply and socio-economic analyses. We use existing methods and models, but also work on developing and improving the method tools. Urbanet Analyze is owned by Asplan Viak, which is one of Norway's leading consulting environments. Within the transport sector, Urbanet and Asplan have good and complementary tools and methods, which gives us the opportunity to carry out analyzes and investigations from overall strategic analyzes to the design of physical solutions.
