Exxon’s attrition stood out among its peers
In “Exxon’s Exodus: Employees Have Finally Had Enough of Its Toxic Culture,” Bloomberg examines the workforce challenges facing the oil company following the pandemic.
Revelio Labs data provided a comparison between Exxon’s employee attrition and turnover at other major energy companies, showing a significant gap between Exxon and its closest peers.
According to Revelio Labs data cited by Bloomberg, Exxon’s U.S. attrition rate reached 18% by the end of 2021, roughly in line with the nationwide average but almost double the average among peers including BP, Chevron, and Shell.
