The PFW General Studies Degree Program is designed for students who wish to customize their own degree programs. You may take courses in a broad range of subjects to tailor-fit your course work to personal interests, goals, or career needs. General Studies graduates have used their degree to pursue further study and careers in areas such as business, public relations, medicine, law, education, and social work. The General Studies department offers two flexible degree programs: •The Bachelor of General Studies degree is one of the most flexible degrees available. A Bachelor of General Studies allows students to design their own degree to fit their career goals. • The Bachelor of Applied Science degree is available only for grads with an Associate of Applied Science. This advantageous degree applies credits earned from the Associate of Applied Science to build a stronger more marketable Bachelor of Applied Science. Earning a BAS is an ideal way to further develop expertise and promote career advancement.
