About NARLabs

The X Talent Program, derived from the former LEAP program, is managed by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) of TAIWAN. The goals of the program are to stimulate cross-country knowledge circulation and to develop cross-culture talents. It is expected that, through the program, host companies from overseas can form long-term relationships with Taiwan's technology ecosystem and find potential talents to expand their businesses into Asia. The program focuses on cooperating with cutting-edge technology companies overseas, stimulating cross-country knowledge circulation and East-West business development to generate benefits for all parties. Moreover, the NSTC grants each trainee 1,500,000 NTD (50,000 USD at most) for one year as a subsidy. Eligibility of X Talent Trainees Taiwan young professionals with a high-level degree, relevant industry experiences, and/or proven outstanding achievements are eligible to become X Talent trainees. Call for Host Companies to Join The X Talent Program calls for host companies to join once a year, usually in January.
