About Mutuelle Dassurance
The Mutuelle Assurance de l’Enseignement was created when the Mutuelle Assurance des Teachers de France (MAIF) ceased its activities in Tunisia. During its first decade of existence, its members were only teachers, and its activity was limited to automobile insurance. In its development approach and its diversity policy, it was decided to give civil servants the possibility of taking out mutual insurance, then employees as well as liberal professions. With time and the development of the insurance market and especially competition, the M.A.E has further broadened its commercial scope by opening up to companies and associations. Also, the MAE has opened up to other branches, namely life insurance, general civil liability, technical risks.
