About Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli Irccs
The Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation, established by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the Giuseppe Toniolo Institute of Higher Studies, manages the hospital activity of the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. Since February, it has been a Scientific Institute for Hospitalization and Care, IRCCS, for the disciplines of "Personalized Medicine" and "Innovative Biotechnologies. Inaugurated in and named after the founder of the Catholic University, Father Agostino Gemelli, the A. Gemelli Polyclinic is today one of the main Italian hospitals and offers assistance in all branches of clinical specialties, including emergency emergencies, it is recognized among the main Italian oncology hospitals with over a thousand services per year and is the reference center of the Lazio Region for many high-level activities complexities, such as clinical care for numerous rare pediatric and adult diseases, including neuromuscular disorders.
