Northern Arc is a diversified financial services platform set up primarily with the mission of catering to the diverse retail credit requirements of the under-served households and businesses in India. It is registered with the Reserve Bank of India as a Non-Banking Finance Company and over the last 14 years, created a differentiated and comprehensive play on the retail credit ecosystem in India. Since 2009, Northern Arc has facilitated financing of over ₹1.50 trillion that has impacted over 80.59 million lives across 682 districts, 28 states & 7 union territories. It has developed domain expertise in enabling credit across our six focused sectors in India - MSME financing , Microfinance, Consumer Finance, vehicle finance (commercial vehicle, two-wheeler and EV finance), affordable housing finance and Agriculture finance. In addition to being a key player across the focus sectors, we are concentrating on building expertise across the climate and renewable financing sector. Northern Arc has built an efficient and scalable business model supported by our proprietary end-to-end integrated technology product portfolio that suits credit needs of multiple sectors. Our in-house technology stack consists of: (i) Nimbus, a curated debt platform that enables end-to-end processing of debt transactions (ii) nPOS, a co-lending and co-origination technology solution based on application programming interfaces (iii) Nu Score, a customized machine learning based analytical module designed to assist our Originator Partners in the loan underwriting process and (iv) AltiFi, an alternative retail debt investment platform. Northern Arc handles an AUM of over INR 10,000 Crore and enables access to debt capital through three primary channels: i) Lending (ii) Placements and (iii) Investments, delivered through our proprietary digital stack and provide efficient digital financing solutions to areas which remain under-served in India.
