We’re a global community of users and developers that work with Linux-based OS's. We aim to use this LinkedIn page to enable individuals of all skill levels with a place to say hello to each other, provide help where they can, and ask others if they need assistance. Linux Community is suited to news, guides, questions concerning the GNU/Linux operating system and to a lesser degree, free/open-source in general. All things Linux and GNU/Linux -- this is neither an exclusively about the kernel Linux, nor is exclusively about the GNU operating system. Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
