About Life Makers Foundation

Life Makers Egypt Foundation (LMF) is a national, non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization established in 2014 and centrally registered with a registration number for the year and operating in accordance with the Egyptian Civil Associations and Foundations Law. The Foundation is based on volunteerism and has been working since its inception to develop young people to build their capabilities in order to work on developing communities and responding to their humanitarian and relief needs. The Foundation works directly through its offices and branches spread throughout the Republic, as well as through partner associations and organizations in the fields of youth development, education, health, livelihoods, basic needs, and the environment. The Foundation adopts the basic principles of humanitarian work: humanity, impartiality, acting according to need and independence, in all the work it undertakes in order to ensure that the provision of aid is carried out without discrimination according to race, religion, gender or any other considerations. Life Makers Foundation provides humanitarian and development interventions to the most needy beneficiaries while preserving their dignity and ensuring their participation. Life Makers is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-partisan, non-political voluntary movement that, since its inception in 1997, has been working to mobilize the best of the human spirit to reduce human suffering and to protect human life and rights. Life Makers Foundation (LMF) is an Egyptian registered national non-governmental and non-profit organization established since and registered centrally with number / and works according to the Egyptian NGOs’ law. The Foundation is youth-led and voluntary based that works since its establishment on youth development to build their capacities to develop societies and respond to its humanitarian and emergency needs. It works directly through its offices and branches all over Egypt and together along with partner organizations on youth development, education, health, livelihoods, basic needs and environment sectors. LMF adopts the core principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence in its operations to the provision of assistance with no discriminations towards difference in ethnicity, religion, race or any other consideration. LMF provides development and humanitarian interventions for the most vulnerable while preserving their dignity and ensuring their participation. Life Makers is a voluntary non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-partisan movement that was launched in order to mobilize the best of the human spirit to alleviate human suffering and to protect human life and human rights.
