Viscolube is the leading company in Europe in the regeneration of used oils. Using its own technology, Viscolube has developed and patented a process for refining used oils which is among the most widespread in the world. Thanks to this technological leadership, Viscolube is able to create lubricating bases with characteristics equal to or even superior to first-refining lubricating bases. In Italy Viscolube has two production plants with over . tons/year of used oil treatment capacity. Viscolube produces rerefined lubricating bases which represent approximately % of the lubricant sold in Italy. The activity is carried out days a year, hours a day, in the two production units of Pieve Fissiraga, in the province of Lodi, and Ceccano, in the province of Frosinone.
