About Glean Management
GLean - Lean Study Group is an entity of the Department of Production and Systems Engineering (DEPS) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, based in the Production Systems Simulation Laboratory (LSSP, tutored by Professor Dr. Glauco Garcia Martins Pereira Da Silva. The group works to develop leaders who disseminate and guide the adoption of the lean philosophy, as well as who are agents of continuous improvement through problem solving through the application of Lean tools. Through this environment, graduates acquire knowledge. through theory and practice in the area of lean production systems. Members carry out projects in different companies, being able to actively work on reducing waste and continuously improving processes in the most diverse sectors.
