Gist is a temperature-controlled logistics specialist, offering its customers primary (from supplier to depot) and retail distribution logistics services (from depot to store). As part of the Marks & Spencer group, Gist is fully responsible for M&S Food logistics, holding itself to account for the full breadth of services and partnerships within the retailer. Gist’s 5,500 colleagues operate from the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and as well as providing the majority of M&S Food logistics services, operate a number of logistics services for third parties as well as providing expertise in freight management services across the globe. Gist’s objective is to establish a performance-focused environment for its people, that is fair and inclusive, where everyone can develop, and connect meaningfully to their manager, the Gist vision, and M&S.
