EF English First is part of EF Education First, the largest privately owned English language teaching organization in the world, which was founded in Sweden in 1965. EF English First Indonesia began operating here in 1986 offering students and the public opportunities to travel overseas to learn English at an Education First Center. EF SWARA Group opened its first franchise Center in Pluit, North Jakarta in 1997 and from there we have never looked back. 24 years later, EF Swara continues to be the largest group in the Greater Jakarta region, having 12 Centers in the city and its surrounding area. We currently have 6 Centers in the capital city of Jakarta, 4 in the thriving suburb of Tangerang, and 2 in the satellite city of Bogor. EF Swara Group is currently expanding and will open a few more centers within the next one year. EF Sentul, EF Graha Raya/Alam Sutera, EF Cisauk, EF PIK2 and EF Green Lake City With a dynamic and expanding team, we established our own Head Office in Tangerang area to help support our EF Centers in continuing to grow as the leading provider of English language education in Indonesia.
