Founded in Rio de Janeiro in , DMS carries with it the determination and firmness of every Brazilian. We were born to grow and, over time, we have positioned ourselves as one of the best logistics companies in the country. Our first focus was customs consultancy, but demand from active clients led us to invest in transport as a complementary service, transferring goods from customs zones to the end customer. In the 1990s, following the growth and commercial opening of Brazil, DMS began operations as a Freight Forwarder, and transferred a large part of the new investments to this sector, consolidating its image as a Logistics and Customs Services Operator. Our main objective has always been to meet the demands of our customers that were not yet perceived by the market. The first years of the new millennium were important for DMS in planning an important expansion of its presence, investing in internationalization. With redirected resources and an updated system to accommodate new types of operations, DMS began operations in the USA in , with the opening of the first international base (MIA. In , two other major steps were taken, with the opening of operations in New York and São Paulo. Then it was Atlanta and Belo Horizonte. The Panama base (PTY) completes the growth cycle we are experiencing, expands our operations and brings the company's main operations closer together.
