We are approx. employees and is based at Islands Brygge in central Copenhagen. Our main tasks consist of: • approving and controlling pharmaceutical companies and drugs on the Danish market • monitoring side effects of drugs • approving clinical trials • deciding which drugs must be subsidized • overseeing medical equipment that is available in Denmark and monitoring serious incidents with medical devices • appoint pharmacists, organize the pharmacy structure and supervise pharmacies and retailers. • We solve most of our tasks in close cooperation with colleagues in pharmaceutical authorities and organizations in the other EU countries.
