The company is principally engaged in exploration, drilling and production of petroleum and related activities in Pakistan. AOC is the pioneer in the oil sector in Pakistan. Its first oil discovery in Pakistan was made in Khaur district Attock in 1915. The refining operations were started in 1922 at Morgah near Rawalpindi.
